Well, this is just an experiment that I’ve been interested in doing for a long time.

When I was younger (before the Internet)  I always wondered if there were others named Larry Perry. I never met one back then; in fact, I still haven’t face to face but I know there are plenty of us out there.

Here in Florida, they have introduced another digit to our drivers license (at the end of the DL number). It signifies how many people are in the state with the same name. My license has a -9, which means that there are eight other Larry Perrys in the state. I just had my license renewed last week (July 09) and the last digit was still a 9 so I guess everyone is still alive and no other Larry Perry has moved into Florida.

I’m not looking for anything from this site. There’s not any hidden marketing agendas associated with it either so you can rest assured that this is nothing but what it looks like on the surface – something just for fun.

I’m requesting people to sign up before they post so that we can have an accurate count of the Larry Perrys who contribute. I don’t want just anyone to be able to join and participate. This is a unique “club” specifically for those with the Larry Perry name.

Maybe, after I see that there is interest, I might place another section here for those who are/were married to or have relatives named Larry Perry but for now I am sticking to only those with the name.

I don’t care where you live in this world. If it’s your name you are welcome to join and say, “Hi”. Let us know who you are, what you do, where you live — anything you want everyone else to know.

I think this can be fun.
